ERod was officially named Defensive Player of the Year for Hudson County today in the Jersey Journal. This marks the second consecutive year he garnered that award and comes just days before the official announcement of his AP First Team All-State selection. They utilized an excellent photo of him on their back cover which was snapped during the St. Peter's Prep game.The paper also includes a lengthy article on his selection of West Virginia University as his home for his college years. The Jersey Journal has always been very fair and thorough in their coverage of ERod and this is another example of their consistency in promoting the local High School players.
Last night two of his QB scrambles from this year were featured on the Madison Square Garden (MSG) Network's High School Weekly year-ending show with Mike Quick.
