Golden departs for sunnier skies, Steve Addazio takes helm

 

Just 10 days after losing their head coach, Temple University has hired Steve Addazio as their new leader. Addazio was serving as the Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line coach for the University of Florida before he accepted the position on North Broad Street.  Addazio knows ERod from having met him while recruting for the Gators back in 2006.

On December 12, 2010, for the second time in ERod's college career, his team's head coach left for another opportunity. Al Golden accepted the head coaching position at the University of Miami. Golden left after being credited for turning around Temple's fortunes over the last five years. His escape is coupled with the departure of North Bergen native Mark D'Onofrio, the most well-known, former football player from ERod's North Bergen High School.

Temple University has scheduled a news conference for tomorrow to introduce Coach A.
