In the past week ERod has received two unsolicited requests for personal information from NFL Agents via Facebook. I am sure he's excited to get those messages as it means people in the know are aware of him. What concerns any parent/guardian is whether an athlete can even have contact with a Professional Agent before their college eligibility is up.
It turns out, they can have contact with an Professional Agent as long as there is no signed agreement in place before the athlete's college eligibility is exhausted. So, while he is able to speak to these two gentlemen, I have taken over that task so ERod can continue to work on his classwork and workouts.
We're still 14 months away from the 2012 NFL Draft so there's plenty of time to test the waters, as far as agents are concerned.
