The victory allows the #3 seeded Bruins to move on in the tournament, facing rival Lincoln (#2 seed in the county) on Wednesday night in Jersey City. Lincoln took the first meeting at North Bergen, 74-66, just a couple of weeks ago.
The Bruins will need to find a way to contain explosive Farod Robinson of Lincoln, who torched them for 23 points and 22 rebounds in the last game.
Meanwhile, speculation continues to swirl as to when ERod will score his #1,000th career point, with estimates now placing him within 50-60 points of the mark. In his last 10 games he has hit double figures 9 times and is averaging 17 points over that span, including four games of 20 points or more.
