The Mountaineers returned home, with ERod on the sidelines, and trounced the overmatched Bulldogs of Mississippi State 38-13 last Saturday. And now the real test comes...against the upstart Rutgers Scarlet Knights, ERod's home state team. The matchup features two Big East powerhouses now that Louisville and Cincinnati have faltered. With UConn undefeated in conference play, this game is a MUST win for West Virginia. A loss sends them to their second Big East set-back and would almost certainly cost them a chance at the conference crown.
ERod will head home this weekend with a teammate and attend the Rutgers game. a spectator on the sideline. It will be his first trip home since he left for Morgantown and he may get a chance to watch his high school North Bergen Bruns in their big weekend matchup with Hudson Catholic. His last visit to Rutgers Stadium was as part of the NJ All-Stars and had two interceptions in his team's win.
