We waited patiently for the Rivals.com affiliate websites (http://scarletnation.com and http://njvarsity.com ) in NJ to rank the Defensive Backs, the last position they ranked when taking a look at all positions on both sides of the football for the 2006 Season. After 5 weeks of waiting, Erod was happy to see himself placed in the #1 slot early this Mother's Day Morning.
Heading into last season, the state's largest newspaper, the Newark Star-Ledger, ranked him #3 in the state behind Myron Rolle and Antwine Perez. Well they both graduated early this year and Rolle is already on the Florida State Seminoles and Perez is already a USC Trojan. While Erod has no chance of graduating early next year, he does have an excellent chance to hit the Big Time.
Congratulations to North Bergen's big safety - but there's a lot of classroom work to do and a LONG way to go before college!
