Under the glare of the TV lights from New York City-based Madsion Square Garden Network, the Bruins of North Bergen put up a valiant fight in their 44-26 loss to National Powerhouse and bitter rival St. Peter's Prep (ranked #15 Nationally). EROD picked a HUGE audience to play his most complete game ever.
Starting with a 67-yard DAZZLIN' scramble and scamper of a TD run, he also threw 2 TD passes and had multiple pases dropped. He added an interception, although his 102-yard INT return for a TD was nullified by a holding penalty. Nevertheless, his ability to rise far above the regular competition and shine will get his college recruitment heated to a feverish boil. Once the game tape is distributed, the promise will no longer be a rumor, but a witnessed fact.
Never could there have been a better time for EROD to bring his "A" game.
